PixelStacker is a program built to make multi layer pixel art using blocks from Minecraft. It incorporates the use of stained glass stacked on top of other blocks in-game. The result is better blending and more color selections.It is my hope that you enjoy this program. I made this program as a proof of concept for creating high quality pixelart.
Adding HUE into the equation brings the color matching to the next level. You get awesome output that way. So... the program was still really slow. Here's the thing. You have about 3000 (decent) different possible color combinations available for Minecraft. The RGB color space has 255^3 = 16,581,375 possible color values.
I only want an image converter. I use this generator as a plan for my builds and then in survival I build the pieces myself block by block. Yes I know that's super tedious but I like tedium haha. So I'm simply looking for a program to convert a picture into minecraft blocks. I don't need a program to actually generate the picture IN minecraft.

It will ask you for the source image, destination file, the ComputerCraft image size (a full 8x6 monitor is 82x40) and whether to stretch or fit. Use pastebin to get the destination file in your computers and paintutils to draw it: image = paintutils.loadImage("imageFileNameHere") paintutils.drawImage(image, 1, 1) Simple as that.
I made it because the normal process of cutting a image and fitting it onto a skin takes a lot of time. It should be a simple thing to do. Downscaling images to mc size takes tons of details away, so not all skins will look awesome
