H oused in historic Harmon Hall, Harmon Museum and Art Gallery covers four floors (over 77,000 sq. ft.) and houses four art galleries, prehistoric artifacts, Shaker artifacts and documents, a recreation of an 1800s town square, an extensive textile collection, research library, and more.
Since 1940, the Warren County Historical Society (WCHS) has been working to preserve and present the heritage of Warren County as well as Southwest Ohio. We are the current stewards of the collection, ensuring its safety for the next generation.

Every month at Harmon Museum (105 S. Broadway, Lebanon, OH), we host a hot catered meal followed by a talk on a historical topic. The topics vary from month to month but are always presented by a speaker fluent on the subject being covered.

The Museum Shop is full of unique items from local artists, artisans, and authors, as well as locally themed gifts. There are old photos of Warren County locations, c hildren's toys, Lebanon themed and country-style items and even pieces of mastodon tusk!
Named for our long-time Harmon Museum curator, Mary W. Klei, our library archives includes materials on the Shakers and Union Village, National Normal University, local churches, court records, photos, atlases, cemetery records, local newspapers, birth, marriage, and death records.
Built in 1795, the Beedle Log Cabin is the oldest house in Warren County. Also the oldest standing structure in Warren County, it was relocated and restored to it's current site, next to Harmon Museum, in 2020.
