PayPal Pay in 4 is not available for certain merchants and goods and the availability is also based on PayPal internal checks. No need to worry! You may see the Pay in 4 option for your future purchases.

If you see the Pay Later button on a merchant's website, that means that they accept at least one of the Pay Later options, like PayPal Credit and Pay in 4.
Hi all, For some reason my buy now pay later has started playing up, one minute it is visible the next it’s gone, I understand not all e bay sales allow this. But it can literally be the same item/ seller but just a minute apart. I have contacted pay pal customer services, but they have now sent me 5 emails saying the exact thing.

PayPal puts your account through some internal checks before the option is available to you. It works like PayPal Credit in that it’s built into the checkout system and displays according to availability based on those checks. Sometimes Pay in 4 may not be available on certain goods and/or merchants.
