Late Y: 1995-2000. Early Z: 2001-2006. Core Z: 2007-2012. It wouldn't make sense, because where's the late group in Gen Z,there would always be a late group within a generation. Plus Core is completely different for people born 08+ Most takes are and takes are. Early:1997-2002 Core:2003-2007 Late:2008-2012.

Unpopular opinion: I think 2010 borns give more Gen Z energy than an average 2000 born. Based from what I've observed. I agree with you, OP. Gen Z begins sometime 1996-2001 and ends sometime 2014-2019. Regardless of the 19 years you pick, 2010 is always included.

To be honest, having a start year leads to controversy as every year will relate to its adjacent years. However, anyone born in the 2000s is guaranteed Gen Z. 1995-2010 or 1997-2012 or 2000-2015, this is the most popular ranges. But this division into generations is a bullshit tbh.
