Makes sense, you basically have to dedicate your entire waking and sleeping adult life to Wal-Mart to be a store manager. It can be up to 125% of their pay. For reference, my small small super center pulls on average 75-120k daily. That is beyond ridiculous how much store managers get in bonuses. I get how hard it is.

Being a digital team lead that’s a whopping 15 cent pay raise. Not to mention being salaried you make no over time, so you’d be losing money.

Walmart makes a lot of changes under certain executives, then new ones come in and reverse them. One of the benefits (for the company) having a bunch of salaried managers was that they were considered exempt employees under labor law. They could work you whenever, however long, and treat you like a nice pile in the process.
