I got a Cash Magnet card when my FICO 8 Experian score was 676 and I was (and am) poor (low income) and had high utilization when I got accepted. And I had a 90-day late that was a little over a year old. I had a lot going against me, but they still let me in.

So i had a bk dismissed back in 16 and i realize that i should have waited till feb to apply for amex. but my finger got itchy and just wanted to see what they would say at this point. i had a hp i could lose . so as i pulled the trigger they said sorry but you can apply for credit one, so i went with that. and got approved. but i didnt like the limit.

That is strange, the begging of January I called in and asked them why they would not just give me the CL they were offering on the second visa onto my existing visa, they said they could not do that and could not grant a cli on my current visa.
