Neighbours is a long-running Australian television soap opera first broadcast on the Seven Network on 18 March 1985. It was created by TV executive Reg Watson, who proposed the idea of making a show that focused on realistic stories and portrayed adults and teenagers who talk openly and solve their problems together.
A photographer, who is hired to take family photos of Isla Tanaka-Brennan, David Tanaka, Aaron Brennan, Nicolette Stone and Jane Harris. Doctor. Nieces. Bryony Harris. Doug Harris, played by Mahesh Jadu, made his first screen appearance on 9 March 2010. [10] Doug is a doctor at Erinsborough hospital. Perth-born actor Jadu auditioned for the role of Doug after being contacted by casting director, Lou Mitchell. [11]
Susan Bower. Garland Cole, played by Jack Finsterer, [2] made his first on-screen appearance on 28 January 2011. Garland is an ex-con who is also involved in illegal street racing. [3] Garland is Finsterer's second role with Neighbours. He previously appeared as Russell Sykes in 1992. [3]
The Turner family, consisting of Amber, Bailey, Matt and Mason arrived in February, as did Robbo Slade. Rhiannon Bates began appearing from April. Jayden Warley and the Willises – Terese, Imogen and Joshua Willis – made their first appearances in May. The following month saw Walter Mitchell and Hudson Walsh arrive.
