It has been very reliable and very few issues with downloading mods. Automod doesn't like the other modhub apparently but it goes to the original links. Kings mods is not completely safe, imo. For the most part we cannot post names of a lot of the other mod sites or the comment gets deleted.

Kingmods is safe and honors the original modder's download links, FS19mods is a rehosting site that takes mods from everywhere and re-hosts them on their own platform essentially taking downloads (and money) away from the original modder. King Mods are safe and is listed on the FAQ.

If you are new to FTK mods, I highly recommend you download and install the Thunderstore Mod Manager. It will do everything for you. Simply install the mod manager, select For the King, and select the mods you wish to install. If you already know how to use mods for FTK manually, then you can download the zip and install manually if you wish.
For buildings, I believe Landmarks of the Old World has a bunch for TK. honestly the best mod for tomb kings atm is tomb kings extended. I dont think there is any other similar mods for tomb kings.
