Can't Claim Artist Profile (Still Waiting, 3-4 weeks!) Solved! Go to solution. I've had my song on Spotify for weeks now, and STILL I can't claim my profile. No peep from anyone at Spotify. Regular tech help will not answer any questions and essentially your just S.O.L. if you want help with this platform at all.
So after my label asked for a name change on my behalf for my artist profile, spotify made me a new account with the right name but I have now no idea how to claim it now that I already have an artist account ? Do I need to delete everything in order to claim it ?

On the artist page, you can select the option " Get Access " and then " Artist or manager " to claim the profile. However, if the artist name is duplicated, we'd recommend selecting a different one.
You can speed up the verification process by verifying your request using your official artist Twitter or Instagram account. And one more thing; you’ll need a Spotify account in order to get access to Spotify for Artists. If you haven’t got one yet, you’ll be given the steps to set one up when you request access.
Hello, I've tried to claim an artist profile twice. Both times I've verified an Twitter account but both times it hasn't worked. It claims the need more info from me. The first time, it said it looks "like we were unable to prove a connection between your Twitter and your Spotify artist profile." Tried another time, and still couldn't claim it.
2020-09-07 04:49 AM. Your Artist Profile can be found in the Spotify For Artists only when you have at least a song uploaded on it. In order to be able to search your artist without uploading a song is to go to Spotify and search for your artist name. Once found, you can copy your Artist link and paste it (in the searchbox) in Spotify For Artists.
