It actually depends on the playlist and there are only estimates out there. Doubles and standard are around 1196 to enter and 1179 to fall out. I believe it is 1208. You are in this weird mid zone between diamond 3 and champ 1 that starts at 1180. The 1208 mmr is correct.

I'm in the same boat as OP, and imo you just have to relax about mmr and hitting new milestones once you reach diamond. The skill gaps between ranks are significantly larger and take more time/practice to bridge. If you're sitting at the bridge between Diamond 3 and Champ 1 like we are, you will get it in time, it's just a question of how soon.
2s historically had the highest MMR inflation though. The top 100 MMRs were always much higher than 3s, so you'd think it would be the opposite. This statement is true up until season 13 and 14. Once they release the distribution chart you will see how badly inflated the 3s rank is compared to 2s.
