On my Tracfone branded Samsung J3 Luna Pro, the access point name is set to VZWINTERNET. It was auto-set that way when sim was activated and it works perfectly. The APN settings are: Name: Verizon Internet. APN; VZWINTERNET. Proxy: Not set. Port: Not set. Username: Not set. Password: Not set.
Tracfone now requires that a dumb TF must be used at least once every 12 months, and a smartphone must be used at least once every 6 months. Otherwise, they will deactivate the phone even if your service end date has not been reached yet. That's written in the TF Terms & Conditions.

It then says to text "Y" to confirm you want to change your number. Once you do that, a message comes up saying to wait five minutes then dial *22890, then make a call. The first couple call attempts didn't go through successfully. I re-entered the *22890 a second time, and then it worked.

After you have logged in for the rewards (after first logging into the account), you then go to "Buy Plan". You can access Buy Plan by just pressing anywhere in that account area like in my screenshot. Then choose what you want. As an example, choose the $5 text card under add-ons which is under Buy Plans.
