FMHY said FileCR is the bad actor but if you look at the offending files, they're the same ones that get shared on sanet before that and pretty much any other public site. The original source of the malware is unknown. Since the same offending files are on pretty much all sites, I personally feel like it's wrong to single-out FileCR.

Confirming false positives from FileCR. I downloaded from Filecr.com Davinci resolve studio 19 since it is the only place that has the latest version. I used Sophos and Malwarebytes to scan and both showed up with Generic patcher and hacktool filepatch respectively upon scanning the patch file. Windows Defender shows as hacktool keygen.
