@OpheliacReborn It depends on if the customer leaves a comment or mentions USPS if Etsy will remove a bad review. This just recently happened to me. Customer leaves a 1* review without comments. I contacted customer asking if there was an issue with their item. No response. Customer opens a case stating non delivery.

It's an unfortunate change, from "optional phone number" to mandatory. I have had 2 parcels delayed in the past week, held for 4 and 5 days, because of "missing information" -- which was the customer's phone number, of all things!! Not knowing how to get around it, I will have to see how it affects sales.

This would probably only work as incoming to me (I have unlimited text plan) though eBay does provide a customer phone number, I don't see Etsy does. Perhaps something can be added in the future, "Would you like to receive text message updates for your order?" Opt in only. USPS provides a text message service for delivery updates. Any thoughts?
One of the most frustrating things about Etsy is that there is no phone number to call when you have a problem that doesn’t fit any of their stock questions. Today my USPS carrier picked up a package. A few minutes later I got a message from the customer telling me the address was wrong and included the correct one.
One of our customers recently informed us that they wrote the wrong apartment number for their package and it was delivered to the wrong apartment via USPS. Any suggestions on how to handle this? Since the package is out of USPS hands, there isn't much they can do unless it gets returned to them.
I sent customer service two messages a week ago, and got two automated messages and have yet to receive a reply. One can only assume it is a case of "do as I say, not as I do". If we were all held up to Etsy's example of customer service (instead of their dictated measures of customer service excellence), we would all get a badge EXCEPT ETSY.
