Original title: Kindle app problem . I had an update for Kindle fail. I thought I would uninstall the Kindle app and then reinstall. When I tried to reinstall the store indicated that the app was installed so I could not reinstall. I am still getting an indication that the app needs to be updated.

Highighting text in Kindle for PC in Win 10. I just downloaded the Kindle for PC app and am reading a book. When I try to select a few words to highlight, the text moves. I can highlight one word at a time, but not more. I'm sure there is a way to do this, but I haven't been able to do it.

Kindle doesn't have an app via Microsoft store, which is entirely their decision not to publish in Microsoft store, however, they do have its own standalone app you can download directly from Amazon, and it is for PC.
