It usually seems to happen when I play another title from their launcher like GTA5, then if I start RDR2 offline it doesn't work. A temporary fix I have found that works every time: Delete C:\Users\<MyUser>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games. Delete everything from the Rockstar Games folder in Documents except my RDR2 profile/saves folder.

OK, so once again, Windows Media Player will not play certain filetypes, specifically .flv files, despite the fact that it recently would play them. I have the k-lite codec pack. Any solution other than "Uninstall Windows 10" that anyone can tell me? Use VLC or one of a zillion other packages instead. My Computer.

Completely uninstall the current Nvidia display drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from WagnardMobile here: Official Download Here. Do this in Safe Mode. I think I play average 30 min to 1 (max 2) hour a day on my laptop, definitely not like 4 to 8 hours in a row.
