I use Edge and Chrome. Both signed into my my profiles. Also using the Authenticator extension. I use Authenticator on my Android to save passwords and for 2S Verification. I cleared all data from Edge on my work laptop. After that Authenticator has no passwords saved. I have Authenticator setup to perform backups. SD. Sumit D - IA.
