Thanks. No, openiv is safe to use. I get it with malwarebytes saying this software could harm your computer but it isn't, so i just added it to my extensions with nexus mod manager aswell. Last time i checked, OpenIV was safe and only reported as a virus due to the fact it modified your game.

Posted April 10, 2016 (edited) If you have OpenIV.ASI installed and "mods" folder created in context menu you will see 'Copy to "mods" folder' or 'Show in "mods" folder' actions: This feature will copy all needed files and archives. Edited November 24, 2016 by GooD-NTS.
Joined: 05/21/2023. Posted May 21, 2023 (edited) I got the ultimate solution! Open the file that you want to drag to openIV in winRAR. then drag it into openIV (without admin mode).
D:\GTAV\GTAV. Hmmm, that shouldn't cause a problem. I have to do this in another OS, which might take me a while if I get any problems. I will install OpenIV 4.1 and I will set the language of the Virtual Machine to Polish to try and get things as close as possible to what you are using.

EDIT: There really is no OpenIV_Setup_Install.log in the temp folder. I'm also unable to find it via search so i guess the file doesn't exist. I just want to install some mods for GTA V (ERO, Weapon Sounds, Car Mods etc.) so i tried to install OpenIV on my Laptop, too. Here the installer just closes after the downloading part.
