Facebook Help Center says: To log out of Facebook on another computer, phone or tablet: Go to your Security Settings. Click on the Where You're Logged In section. Find the session you want to end and click End Activity. Clicking End Activity will immediately log you off of Facebook on that computer, phone or tablet. Share.

I am trying to log out of Facebook, as usual, and when I click on the account drop down menu, I get a twirling grey circle and this: "The content you requested cannot be displayed at the moment. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may have expired or you may not have permission to view this page."
John C's answer is incorrect. There is no way to access your account if you have two-part authentication on and have lost your phone. Period. The recovery codes are eight-digit. Authentication codes are six. If you input recovery code (any of the ten) into the two-part authentication box, you will get an error: "The login code doesn't match the ...
From the dropdown menu at the top of the Facebook site, go to: Settings; Security and Login; If you see any unrecognized devices there, or devices that you know aren't yours, log yourself out by clicking the three dots to the right, then Log Out.

I've logged off from both iPad and Mac browser and I'm still online (my friends see me online). I've tried several times to log out from browser and from iPad account, I'm always online. The only ways to go offline are: to change the chat settings about Availability in the browser. to select: Go offline on iPad app (which is different from log out)
This is not a duplicate of How can I log out of Facebook chat?. It says “Turn off chat” on that question's answer but I say “I turned off chat but it still show me as online” — these are different issues. Based on other reports within Facebook it seems like many others are having this problem and that it is, indeed, a bug.
I'm visiting www.facebook.com on the web browser on a Samsung Galaxy Tab, Android version 2.2, and I can't find any way to log out of Facebook once I'm logged in. I want to emphasize that I'm not using a native app, but instead viewing Facebook in a mobile browser, in this case the native webkit browser.
