What you need to do is go into the Windows Defender Antivirus settings. Somewhere in there you should be able to create an exception, possibly on some sort of white list, for uTorrent.exe. When trying a second time, get the message "the torrent you are trying to add is already in the list of torrents. Do you want to load more trackers from it" After clicking yes or no, the torrent still isn't displayed.
Any time I click on "download torrent" Nothing happens. The page is trying to load to download the file but it doesn't get therel. Never had issues before with this on my laptop. I have bit defender. But I had that when it was working before. Unless something has changed in this. I use windows 7, and tried all my browsers ie10, chrome, Firefox
Speed is determined by a combination of a couple of things. Ratio's are an indication of how much is your share in the distribution of the torrent. In general a 1:1 ratio is considered fair and 'having done your part'. µtorrent doesn't keep ratio beyond the scope of a single file because it's useless.

The torrent never appeared in my list and I deleted utorrent and reinstalled. It is still telling me that the torrent is in my list when I only have 3 torrents in my list.
