Reaper's true value is in the customization, but the default setup is kind of lacking. But once you make these changes, it doesn't really work in a big studio with seat rotation. Pro tools: 85/100. Reaper pre customization: 60/100. Reaper post customization: 90/100.

Reaper is NOT free, and it says that very clearly on the Cockos website. It says that very clearly in the program itself. It's $60 (or $225 if you're using it in a high-volume enough studio), which is nothing compared to $700 for Pro Tools. Please, please stop suggesting Reaper as a "forever free" DAW.

Japanese EDM artist "Camellia" uses Reaper. Kenny Gioia, who makes the official tutorial videos for Reaper and who has engineered, produced and mixed on ...
I was using Cakewalk for years (since 2004) and switched to Reaper in 2019. Skills are totally transferable. There's even a tool on the Reaper stash that lets you transfer cwp files into Reaper. I find Reaper easier to use (more intuitive and less cluttered) and less processor hungry than Cakewalk. 5.
What happens after 60 days trial ? I've been using Reaper for few years now, and i remember i bought my liscence after 10 days of using it. I just dont understand its legal agreement, so, after 60 days of use you are required to buy a liscence, right ? Well, i have seen a youtuber the other day, he streamed how he makes beats and his streaming ...
