    The FDNY union president sould be putting the door latch blame on the city of New York and not on Seagrave Fire Apparatus.     02-23-2007, 05:28 PM. Seagrave chassis. The Commander II is available for all applications as far as I know. FDNY is going away from the fixed cab. They opened the spec to the Split-Tilt design to allow servicing in the FH. The Attacker is available on the aerials. The Aerialscope is a good question.

    On Oct 23, 2013 the city of New York posted bid award notices for the FDNY squad Support vehicles, only two companies bid on the apparatus, Ferrara, & Seagrave. The bid from Seagrave was in the range of $439k each and Ferrara in the area of $ 343k ! Marion is just down the road from Clintonville.

It's good to see that Seagrave has upgraded there web site after about three years, they do build a good strong apparatus but there management needs to do something about the high price of there apparatus. Many small fire department across the country can not afford to buy from Seagrave .
