Bit late but: Go to Steam -> Library -> right click on lethal company -> manage -> browse local files and remember the game path you have. If you're on Windows, just copy paste that. Now open Thunderstore go to settings, and search for CHANGE LETHAL COMPANY DIRECTORY.
2 years later here: had a friend tell me to get it for Outward and it's tested my patience for the past 3 hours. I can't get all of the mods to install correctly, Thunderstore freezes up as soon as I finish importing the mods with a: "100% imported This may take a while, as mods are being downloaded. Please do not close Thunderstore Mod Manager."
The mod manager provides a long code, copy it and give it to your friends. They open r2mod manager and make a new profile, then press the import/update button. This lets them put in the code you provided. give it a minute or two and bingo. They have the exact same mod list as you.
The only benefit of a mod download manager, really, is updates are a bit easier. But, unlike an MMO, i am not seeing it necessary to do frequent mod updates( i currently run just over 30 mods). Manual install, you just extract the file and then copy the folder the extraction created to the plugins folder in BepInEx.
Not to mention Curse's launcer/mod loader has a well documented habit of deleting Minecraft installations without warning or option to turn that feature off and it does it without rhyme or reason, it got so bad I had to tell everyone who asked to use GDLauncher cause the Curse one is so ***t.
Both Thunderstore's mod manager, and R2ModMan are safe and popular options. Reply reply Fireborn24 ...
As the title says, just recently Thunderstore Mod Manager has began to have issues with mods. The issue in particular is that mods will get stuck at 100% while downloading/updating them. I have cleared the mod cache, disabled download cache, but the problem still persists.
I was told that Thunderstore downloads all the mods and the bepin ex files into a separate folder apart from the outwards folder/s and then once the game has been ran, the mod manager loads the mods into the game. Which makes sense as there is no bepin ex files in either of my Outward Folders, Vanilla or Definitive Edition.
Is it possible to launch a Valheim dedicated server modded through Thunderstore ? I tried to install my mods with Thunderstore on my server but when I launch it "Modded" the BepInExPack console doesn't appear (although it does when I use Thunderstore with the client). I only see the classic console of the dedicated server.
Drop the updated nexus mods into your r2modman profile mod folder, or point your nexus mod manager to install mods there. That way everything is consolidated into r2modman profiles. As for your friends, once they point nexus mod manager to their r2modman profile mods folders, updating those mods should return to the same process as any other game.
