Was looking at a few tiny homes in Hendersonville NC. They are cute, lot rent is $675 a month which includes water, sewer,trash,lawn. The asking price is $149k, but there are others with an asking price of less.
The thing about the "tiny house on wheels" is that you've got to park in Mommy's back yard so you have access to things like a usable size fridge, washer and dryer, tub (ever had a painful surgery on your bottom where you can only obtain pain relief by sitting in a bath of hot water?) and enough storage space for the impedimenta of the normal middle class American.
Is the Tiny House going to be permanent/semi - permanent like ours is or do you want to use it to travel? If permanent/semi-permanent, factor in towing costs unless you have a truck sturdy enough to tow it. If you want to travel with it, definitely factor in a truck capable of towing the weight of the truck plus the Tiny House.
