A TRICK i use often. Once all hires images are on the designed document - and its coming in at 15-20mb, just change the link to the images so they are 'missing' then make a pdf. i.e ' Hi Res images ' to HRes images - old '. The screen resolution of images is still great, but file comes in at fraction of the size.
How to change PDF print scale. I’m trying to print a PDF at 80% size however my iPhone and iPad Acrobat apps have no option to do this neither does AirPrint, it only allows me to print what it automatically sets to scale to A4 the paper size but this is too big. Only PC’s allow me to change the scale but that is not convenient.

The way I found to do it is to type the words you want to fill into the fillable pdf space on a blank document in pages and then copy and paste it into the box. resizing a pdf file for printing. I download sheet music and want to be able to change the physical size of the pdf images to fit a page. Sometimes they print out too small and can't be read. Sometimes they print too big and some is cut off the page. Checking the "scale to fit paper size" option in the print dialog box doesn't do anything.
As far as I can tell, there is no Safari setting to avoid the automatically resize effect when viewing website PDF in the Safari 14.0.2 browser. I have looked at the Preference file for Safari and see nothing obvious there either. Looks like it is a manual intervention every single time.
The answers always seem to revolve around the PDF creator being the one who sets the font size, but the real problem is that a lot of PDF creators actually set the font size to "Auto". When this is active, the text in the field is supposed to resize itself so that the text you type into the field is resized to fit the field.
