I own all the accessories to the Firebox Stove and they all packed nicely into the Cordura case ($15.99 add-on item). Firebox Stove Cordura carry case with stove and accessories inside. Pictured here are the three 5" plates. The adjustable fire grate ($7.99; left), the boil plate ($7.99; center) and the grill plate ($7.99; right).

  3. Bushbox vs Firebox - Bushcraft USA Forums

    bushcraftusa.com/forum/threads/bushbox-vs-firebox.210088

Used some tent stakes through the holes in the Stove made for them to rest my canteen cup on too. Reason I chose the BB XL over the Firebox is the XL is symmetrical. Guess I’m picky, but the asymmetrical Firebox just looks a little strange to me. Works awesome though! Most likely end up with a Firebox someday as I’m a gear junky...

No actual use yet, but I wanted to post some pictures that show it in comparison to the SS G2 5" Firebox Stove. There are at least a couple of differences from the SS version. The Ti stove is missing the dimples below the fire grate that hold the ash pan in a closed position to cut off air flow.

  6. Firebox stove pan - Bushcraft USA Forums

    bushcraftusa.com/forum/threads/firebox-stove-pan.251089

So just as a follow up. The firebox stove pan showed up. Followed the seasoning instructions. Tonight used it to cook shredded cheese (as a test) and a fried egg. Two things I could think of that would stick and be a hot mess. Flipped the egg in the air no problem and cheese in its crusty decisions form peeled right off.

Swedish stove. I should have used a bit larger log I think. The two ends of the stove come in really handy for collecting tinder and keeping it dry. Melting and boiling snow just for fun. Overall Im really liking this thing. Way sturdier than any folding stove I have used. Just a lot of fun and usefulness for $20.

  8. Firebox nano or Emberlit Fireant | Bushcraft USA Forums

    bushcraftusa.com/forum/threads/firebox-nano-or-emberlit-fireant.363136

The fireant has a slight larger profile and I think it's the more stable stove. The wire legs of the nano aren't the stable, especially in soft ground or snow. That usually an easy fix by finding rocks or wood to put the stove on, but I feel like it's easier with the fireant.

  9. Firebox campstove question - Bushcraft USA Forums

    bushcraftusa.com/forum/threads/firebox-campstove-question.342938

Go direct through Firebox Stove. I’ve got the Stainless G2 (Ti was prototype at the time), Ti G2, Ti Nano, and Scout Stove with just about every accessory for all stoves including the Trangia remote canister burner. I bought 4 kits of the Scout Stoves in the kickstart and gave 3 away for Christmas last year.

  10. Toaks vs. Firebox Stove - Bushcraft USA Forums

    bushcraftusa.com/forum/threads/toaks-vs-firebox-stove.168663

Firebox: - $60 for the stove, two firesticks, and a cotton sack - stainless steel - box stove design - heavy The day was very windy. It took about the same amount to time for both stoves to hold a flame. I took a different approach to each stove. For the Toaks I used thin pieces of wood and for the Firebox I used large upright chunks.

  11. Firebox Stove & Lump Charcoal - Bushcraft USA Forums

    bushcraftusa.com/forum/threads/firebox-stove-lump-charcoal.313030

I've had my Firebox Stove G2 for a year or so now and recently ordered the Fire Grate and 5" Extended Grill Plate. This has been a blast to use with my 10-year old son in the backyard. Using just a few pieces of lump charcoal there's no mess, no babysitting and burning for an extended amount of time with no additional attention!
