The motor is a one-off construction by AMG. The Exelero was also put together by the Italian concept-car maker Stola. I doubt that many parts from the 1991 S-Class survived the adaptation to Maybach unchanged, and even less made it from the 57 S to the Exelero. So yeah, none of the parts of your CL are on the Exelero.

Love this. It's exactly what Maybach should be putting their brand on. Enormous, ridiculously long bonnets, and smooth comfort. Instead, we got the 57 and 62, and now the badge is reduced to nothing more than a trim level on an S-class. So disappointing.
The answer is simple: this is the only Maybach Exelero in existence. Mercedes-Benz only made one. Mercedes-Benz only made one. TL;DR: Pedigree+Exclusivity=Expensive, if somewhat ugly, car.
Maybach is owned by Daimler (Mercedes Benz). They were little more than outrageously expensive modified S-Classes with (IMO, of course) sub par aesthetics when compared to their rivals from Rolls Royce, Bentley, or even lesser brands with coach built offerings.
