I'm running a minecraft server and it's one of those servers where I have to turn it on manually. So the members never know if it's on or not. That's why I need a discord bot that can display the status of the server is my discord server.
On the discord server for my minecraft server I have one channel with a 2 min cool down for only status checks. In all other channels I remove the permissions for the bot. The 2 min delay stops players from spamming the bot.
Which is inefficient and I will probably rewrite the bot to ping the server directly. Then I can make the refresh rate higher. I can't get on any minecraft servers, even though my internet is completely fine. And it keeps saying unable to fetch server status minecraft every time i open the launcher. Im not sure if I did something to my computer or that its on mojang side. I tried to reinstall it but i can't on to the mojang website! I can someone help me with this issue.
