Mahogany homes is great. Mining and smithing rune meds for the next week to fund 92 construction. Although I suggest mahogany planks made via plank make. I use rune pouch for PoH and portals and Xeric's talisman to get around. And obviously the plank sack. Outfit when possible. 1000000x better than grinding in PoH.
From 70-99, I ended up using 10k mahogany logs and 27k teak logs, and spent around 30m gp. As well as maybe 5k-6k laws between banking logs and training con. For xp, I averaged around 285xp per plank for teaks and 345xp for mahoganies. The fastest xp rate I averaged was 185k xp/hr with teak and 245k with mahogany.

you have things in osrs that are afk up to the logout timer (5/20 minutes), you have bankstanding skills that are afk for fixed time (say, 1-2 minutes), you have gatherers with variable afk (amethyst, woodcutting and fishing) and you have lower effort methods (say, mushroom wc, mahogany homes versus 2t teaks/cape racks) just call it lower effort.
