It is the main motion picture production and distribution arm of Universal Studios, a subsidiary of the NBCUniversal division of Comcast. All films listed are theatrical releases unless specified.

This date will move forward one year, every year, meaning that films released in 1929 will enter the public domain in 2025, films from 1930 in 2026, and so on, concluding with films from 1977 entering the public domain in 2073.
