I'm creating a script that injects helpful data into the amazon shopping cart page. For this, I want to basically query the items a customer has already added to their shopping cart. I know this is possible because the share-a-cart extension does it. So, how do I programmatically access the shopping cart list on Amazon?
My shopping cart is completely full (the "buy later" bin) over years of moving things and accumulating products I like. I'd like to transfer these ALL to a wishlist, but clicking on each individual product and selecting a wishlist could take hours.
It happens to me all the time: I follow a link on the web to purchase a book on amazon.com, add the book to my cart, and at the moment I want to checkout I realize I was on amazon.com when I should really have been on (say) amazon.co.uk (the way I realize this is with the stupidly expensive shipping costs and ridiculously long shipping times).

How the shipping will be broken up (one order can be 4 shipments for example) The reason we don't just say "This item will cost $6.98 for shipping" is because it might cost $4.00 and it might cost $12.00. We don't want to create a false expectation for the customer by promising $6.98 and having it cost $9.00 at the end of checkout.
If you are very lucky, a slot will be available and it will place the order. After the order is placed, Amazon does a good job of tracking which items were canceled. Which is fine. The problem is, items sit in my shopping cart for a week waiting for a delivery slot. In the meantime, Amazon will silently remove the item from my shopping cart.

Since it does not appear that the site actually supports this post-order modification (which is understandable, due to payment processing), your best bet is to call Amazon's Customer Support - 1-800-201-7575. This question circa 2011: How to export/download my Amazon wishlist? Now, we have multiple lists in addition to the default wish list, that we make and change various times. At times we wish to export and import them from one Amazon profile (of family/ friends) to another. At times export/import only a full or partial list.
