thetvapp.to clearly seems to be the current king of live TV streaming. The sites I use to stream NFL games are inconsistent with buffering issues, and sometimes takes 10-20 clicks on my TV to get the game to play and to get full screen (Stream East). I am looking forward to checking out football on thetvapp.to this upcoming Sunday!

That said, if channels like ESPN are "must have" then Sling, with their Orange package, will be your least expensive option. At least while you are waiting to decide you might check out free options like Pluto TV or Xumo TV. They both include news channels from the likes of NBC and CBS, and also have weather channels.
For pre-1980 or so TV shows -- but not the usual Lucy or *Gunsmoke* reruns. This subreddit is for the ephemeral TV programs of the pre-VCR era -- the stuff no one ever expected to see again: newscasts, local kiddie shows and horror movie hosts, live TV dramas, game shows, soap operas, teen dance parties...
It was fine but not anything special. Anyway live TV on streaming will always be a thing as long as sports exist. I use ESPN+ for hockey. I use YTTV for RedZone and national NBA games. Until there are "cheap" (key word) options to stream individual sports then live streaming will be a thing.
After doing that exercise myself, I ended up with Sling Blue + Value pack. The Value Pack has a different name, but they have a number of $5-10 bundles and that does them all for $20. Without the Orange, I'm only really giving up ESPN. So, I also have the Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu for $12/month to get some ESPN stuff.
For example, I use a local cable company serving my address that charges $21.99/mo for a 45 channel streaming package, including all the local channels and subchannels, and including 100 hour DVR, if you also use their internet service. Reply reply. pinoy_dude24. •. Use sling tv plus airtv 2 for local channels.
vcdupper. •• Edited. I have found a site that sells high quality accounts for all major tv platforms such as Hulu, Fubo, Directv, Sling TV, HBO MAX, STARZ, IPTV to name a few for dirt cheap, since finding them I have bought accounts to all the before mentioned platforms for fees such a 6 months of fubo TV for $6, in these links I am ...
It really only helps for those that are 1080p 60fps themselves. But yes, YTTV and Hulu+Live both do 1080p/720p 60fps. For 1080i/30fps it interpolates it to 60 fps. NFL is YTTV domain. They have Season Ticket. If you are not interested in Season Ticket then the only real question is if your locals are on one or the other. Most are on both.
Not even a hot take: a live TV streaming service is cable. YouTube TV is the best of the services available today. The obvious reason is that Google throws in 6 DVRs with the service and each has unlimited storage and tuners. Which is a big reason. But for me it is the better scrub.
