SunTrust does not charge a monthly fee for the Express Web Connect (EWC) connection but EWC cannot be used with Quicken to send bill pay commands to any bank. If you wish to avoid the PC Banking fees, you can log into your online SunTrust account and use their free basic bill pay service there.

When I went to recently download, it was after the weekend merger of 2/18-2/20/22, and I did a One Step Update that only downloaded transactions from 2/18/22 forward.
Thank for your reply; I can sign in fine using my D and password at the Banks Website. You do understand, Suntrust shutdown it systems 2/18/22 to convert to truist bank on 2/21 or 2/22/22.

I couldnt use the method of re-branding the online account since i wasnt already online with suntrust. i went into Tools---Add account then typed in suntrust,saw suntrust bank, saw advanced options under the suntrust bank logo on the far right. so i clicked on that.

After a full day of failures yesterday trying to get my Suntrust PC Banking / Quicken to transition to Truist (or is it really BB&T Online Banking), I was successful making a Direct Connection to the Bank (not Truist but BB&T Online). All is better today since they had an system wide problem yesterday and I was placed on a master ticket problem.

It appears from what I've read in the press, BBT and Suntrust customers are being moved to a new platform, therefore this new platform needs to be added to the Quicken process. I would encourage calling the 800 number provided by Truist as part of the migration and register the complaint.
