Location. Beaumont, CA. Oct 10, 2015. #4. I detected Goleta Beach back a few years ago. Lots of iron, metal slag from bonfires and plenty of pull tabs. There was little or no erosion though so I can't tell you how good it would be after an El Niño. Did find a couple of silver rings on the Santa Barbara beaches.
