@tb542 Hulu has been part of the Disney Family of networks for some time now. They have been associated with Disney for a number of years. To make it easier for those who have multiple Disney Family networks, Disney Plus, Hulu, ESPN +, etc. have gone to a common login. You do not have to subscribe to Disney Plus to login to Hulu.
However it logged us out of Disney plus so I was able to log back into my Disney plus on my phone. We live in separate houses so I get home and try to log into Disney plus on my tv , it has the “use a Mobil device” to log in , and I open my app and get a prompt to allow my tv to access Disney , except after I press “allow” the prompt to ...
So I wanted to watch disney + today, but the app wouldn't start. I tried to reinstall it, but it still wouldn't start, so i researched a bit and it turns out that it needs edge to run properly. I subscribed through Disney plus and log in my username and password on roku Disney plus, roku always asked me to resubscribe again and charge me again. Unless this issue is solved, Roku is a worse device on my list.
I've canceled Netflix, Hulu, HBO MAX, and now Disney is on the chopping block. I'd rather just point plex to a small SSD plugged into her router with her favorite shows than deal with any more price hikes, feature de-implementation, show removals, more price hikes, any more password sharing crackdown style bullshit, and just general ...
Disney Plus’ backend systems have some serious bugs. Two summers in a row, my account becomes inaccessible. Disney has a single sign on for all things Disney: Disney World, Disney Store, ESPN+, etc. The issue I encounter only affects Disney Plus but nowhere else.
