Help resolve the issue. I want to keep the files on my computer, not the cloud. Trun off Cloud saving. Open the Save As dialog (don't just hit Save). You will get a choice to save locally to disk, or to the cloud. When you choose disk, you can also set that as the default, and you won't have to think about it again.

In the previous version of Photoshop, the default format for SAVE AS was PSD; perfect as I like to post produce, save as PSD then export to JPG. Platographer. Explorer , Aug 20, 2023. I noticed that all of my .psd files are listed as "Adobe Photoshop Image.24" under the Type column in Windows Explorer in Windows 11. My .psb files are listed as "PSB File" though. I would think psd files would be listed as "PSD File." Below is a screenshot of a few files in Windows Explorer.
