The expected delivery date has changed three times already. It was Saturday the 29th (typo), then Monday the 31st, and now Wednesday the 2nd. I meant the 29th and then the 31st. And I called FedEx on Saturday at the end of the day and they said it simply didn't make it to my city, and that in transit doesn't necessarily mean the truck is moving.
Arrived at FEDEX location - Your package has arrived at the local depot. Its in a trailer or a pile and will be sorted, eventually. Left FEDEX origin facility - This means your package has been loaded onto a plane or trailer and is on it's way to the next hub. Your City - In Transit - The first misleading one. Means it's in transit on it's way to you - probably severely delayed, but not totally lost. Keep in mind, if it's on a trailer, it does not necessarily mean the trailer is on a truck. Transit could also mean its buried in a warehouse waiting for someone to happen across it and scan it back in. 2. Award.
Now it's Monday, and still no movement. I got a case # and FedEx also promised that someone would call me back within 24 hours; that also didn't happen. I have received no useful info from FedEx customer support (e.g., an estimate of # items in the queue before me or some sort of realistic ETA would be great. But it's total radio silence now.

Reply. -DarknessFalls-. •. Honestly, I’ve had 3 things shipped to me with FedEx in the past year. The first one was in April 2020. It took 47 days. The second was early February this year. It took 21 days. I’m currently waiting on my third shipment.
4. Award. Tcal876. • 3 yr. ago. If the tracking status of your shipment is “In Transit”, it means that your package is on its way to its final destination. It does not necessarily mean that your package is in a moving vehicle such as an aircraft of truck, it may be at a FedEx facility. 3. Award. Legionofstars456.
I've had a package sitting at a FedEx location in KANSAS CITY, MO for the past 3 days, originating from SPARKS, NV, literally doing nothing apart from updating to "In Transit" then back to "Arrived at FedEx location" each day, at the same location. I'm only 200 miles away. This is the second time FedEx have acted like a total donut with my order.
