    www.reddit.com/r/FedEx/comments/abnrje/how_accurate_is_fedex_estimated_delivery

The expected delivery date has changed three times already. It was Saturday the 29th (typo), then Monday the 31st, and now Wednesday the 2nd. I meant the 29th and then the 31st. And I called FedEx on Saturday at the end of the day and they said it simply didn't make it to my city, and that in transit doesn't necessarily mean the truck is moving.

Means it's in transit on it's way to you - probably severely delayed, but not totally lost. Keep in mind, if it's on a trailer, it does not necessarily mean the trailer is on a truck. Transit could also mean its buried in a warehouse waiting for someone to happen across it and scan it back in. 2. Award.

    4. Award. Tcal876. • 3 yr. ago. If the tracking status of your shipment is “In Transit”, it means that your package is on its way to its final destination. It does not necessarily mean that your package is in a moving vehicle such as an aircraft of truck, it may be at a FedEx facility. 3. Award. Legionofstars456.

I've had a package sitting at a FedEx location in KANSAS CITY, MO for the past 3 days, originating from SPARKS, NV, literally doing nothing apart from updating to "In Transit" then back to "Arrived at FedEx location" each day, at the same location. I'm only 200 miles away. This is the second time FedEx have acted like a total donut with my order.
