Forge of Empires, from its inception, has had a built-in flaw that has yet to be addressed and corrected. This should be given #1 priority by the Devs. FoE allows players from the Future or even the Arctic Future to attack and plunder players in much lower Ages who don't have a prayer of defending themselves.
Over the last months we have been working on creating a wiki that will list most important information about Forge of Empires. The wiki is a constant work-in-progress, just like the game itself, and was designed to guide you through your gaming experience as well as provide detailed information about the game mechanics and stats.
Many of the avatars come from their respective historical questlines or events, including Gandhi's avatar. I'm too lazy to add to a wiki about the portraits, but the unofficial foe wiki can provide answers. I don't think they have a specific page for avatars, so you have to search up the events.
Himeji Castle, 6x6, will be the first GB producing Spoils of War - random rewards of: Diamonds, FPs, Goods, Rogues, Rogue Hideouts, and Rogue Hideout Shrink Kits. It's passive bonus is Supplies. It will be like having a Blue Galaxy, Seed Vault, and Alcatraz, all in one GB.

Medals are relatively rare but a significant resource in Forge of Empires. They are used to unlock extra expansions for your city, and the costs increase steeply. The last expansion (as of the time this guide was written) costs 580,000 medals.

By level 100 they're the same. army attrition scales slower for a while. On average if you're a 200%-500% boost attacker you'll get about 10 more fights a week.
