Run Vanilla Minecraft through the CurseForge Client (Profile = Minecraft 1.17.1) Install Optifine by double clicking the file from the Downloads Folder. Install Optifine to the following path: C:\Users [your username here]\curseforge\minecraft\Install. Launch Minecraft using the CurseForge App and use the Forge profile. The only way I've been ...
HayBaleTheGreat. • 3 yr. ago. I am here to actually answer the question, 1. Don’t add optifine directly to the modpack, when you go into the launcher go to installations and open the folder for the installation and click on mods and put optifine in their and voila it works! Also as of my experience nothing bad happens from downloading mods ...
I extracted the Optifine file into my minecraft mod folder and everytime I loaded into a world, I'd get a crash report with the -1 Exit Code one. After a few hours of trying to fix this, I realised I wasn't on the version of forge that the most recent 1.18.2 Optifine was on.
Download optifine 1.12.2 HD G5 (I think) Go to your files, go to the folder it downloaded into, press copy on it, go to your RLcraft mod folder (you can find this by tapping on the RLcraft profile in curse forge, tapping the 3 dots and pressing "open folder") go to the mods folder inside the RLcraft folder, place optifine into the mods folder) 2.
Substantial-Sound840. • 1 yr. ago. Because the most recent version of optifine available is for 47.1.43 and that's a review version, so no you cannot use optifine and forge for any version of forge after 47.1.43 and even if you do downgrade your forge to accommodate, some 1.20.1 mods are incompatible with it, i found that out trying forge 47. ...
I know people say there's sodium or phoporus, but those are Farbic mods. I want to see if there's a forge optimization mod that gives me more fps than optifine, or if there are mods that is compatible with optifine that will further optimize minecraft 34 votes, 16 comments. true
i mean with the curseforge launcher itself, can i add it to a modpack in the curseforge launcher? Open the launcher, click on the modpack you want, click the options button, looks like three vertical dots, click on open folder. Easiest way to get to the folder I know of. Drop the OptiFine .jar file in the mods folder.
has anyone found a fix for optifine not working on custom modpacks for 1.20.1 yet? no matter what i do i cannot get it to work! its weird because lots of the most popular modpacks rn are on 1.20.1 and have working optifine :/
It was so much easier back when it was just OptiFine with optimizations and graphical upgrades all in one. Is there a generally accepted combination that's best for 1.18+ Forge installs, with optimizations, graphical options, and shaders? Ideally that won't be incompatible with everything like Optifine is.
