For the average person, especially now that many Star Wars fans have families of their own, are they really going to go to a limited re-release of $12-20 per ticket per person, or are they just gonna subscribe to Disney+ for a month? Ad free for one month is $13.99. Practically the cost of a movie ticket.
Yep you just described the reason I felt the need to ask the Star Wars community for their opinion. The thought of watching them in any order other than 1-6 makes me uncomfortable but what I had heard about Episode 1 did not make me feel very confident that it was the best movie to start with. 4, 5, 1-3, 6.

Episode I will always be the best looking of the prequels, and in my opinion, its looks are on par with the OT or better to me, because they shot in film and used more of the miniatures. It’s still got the grainy feel of old Star Wars paired with some of the newer effects, and I think that served it well as a bridge between old and new.
The worst Stsr Wars film, period. Hau dah yu suh. I think it's the least dull out of the prequels, but yeah, it still drags on. Yeah. It's actually my favourite prequel. Yeah for all it’s criticisms it’s anything but boring, maybe some of the political crap. Yes. Episode 1 has a bad rap for being childish and annoying.
Start with 4,5,6, then watch 1,2,3 for the foundation of star wars content. OK after doing this you're with the basic knowledge of star wars. Then watch the clone wars movie and clone wars series. After that watch tales of jedi. Then watch bad batch s1 and s2. After that watch kenobi series.
