First go to your search bar and type in %appdata% Second step: Locate your .minecraft folder. Go into it and search for the versions folder. Once you found it double click it. There are all versions saved that you played on. Now just search for the optifine version and delete the folder. Hope i could help you.

Edit: If you're using a pack from 1.12 or earlier on 1.13 or later, you need to rename your resource pack's assets/minecraft/ mcpatcher folder to assets/minecraft/ optifine. go to video settings then go to quality and turn on sun and moon if you have them off. 102 votes, 18 comments. 56K subscribers in the Optifine community.
It's not a optifine feature. Simply go into your .minecraft folder, open the option.txt file and change the number between the Gamma setting from 1 to 1000 (it's the maximum, putting it higher won't change anything ) Help!
