So I recently wanted to get my desktop player at Ultra HD, but couldn't through the web player. After searching the entire internet, I couldn't find a solid answer as to whether there actually WAS a mac desktop app. People mentioned it, but there was ZERO trace of it on amazon.com.

YES!!! you can. Download app to desktop, press control and click on songs. It turns a slightly different color, no check boxes will appear. Then right click, add to playlist! So happy I figured it out. In the AM webpage, you used to be able to list an album or group of songs, and select multiple ones via checkboxes.

It looks and behaves just as the standalone app did. Open the Amazon Music web page (https://music.amazon.co.uk) for UK, click Share - Add to dock. 1.
