To translate this word the context and possibly the kanji version is needed. Japanese has 2 alphabets, hiragana and katakana ( the one used here), and then kanji. This シン written in kanji could mean 新 ( new), 真 ( truth), 信 ( sincerity) to name a few. Since there are about 50.000 kanji and not enough syllables to attribute a specific ...

Almost went with English because it was hard to pay attention to all the Mongols trying to kill me while reading subtitles. But eventually my brain adjusted to the old fashioned Japanese and I was less reliant on subtitles. So I went with the Japanese. 1.
Welcome to r/LearnJapanese, *the* hub on Reddit for learners of the Japanese Language. My review of various JP learning discord servers. Since I am very bad at managing my time and instead of learning Japanese I spend an unhealthy amount of time just hanging out in a lot of different Japanese learning communities on discord, I noticed that for ...
DISCUSSION. With Infinite Wealth almost here what audio will people be using English or Japanese ? I`ve always used Japanese for the Yakuza and LaD Gaiden games but English for Judgement and Like a Dragon. Hated Kiryu's English voice in his cameo and the demo but prefer Ichiban's English to the Japanese voice actor.
The Japanese course on Duolingo is mainly a word learning course. Each unit will introduce you to a couple new words (between 15 and 30), then it will incorporate some of those words into sentences, and finally those sentences will try to teach a couple grammar points as well. Assuming, you get each unit to max level, most words are gonna stick.
English VA for Tales of Arise is really good imo. Both. Tales rewards multiple play through. Hmm…I usually like Japanese VA overall for games like this (Persona series I generally listen to the Japanese VAs because if any series that is anime, it would be that one), but I like the English dub so far.
english, as i don't speak japanese. Japanese audio, english subtitles. I've been a fan of anime for years and it just felt right to play this game in japanese for me. My only gripe was the subtitles mistranslating 'Sakai-sama', as Jin Sakai, it'd be more akin to Lord Sakai, throughout my entire playthrough, lol.

I think Persona's dubs are pretty good but this is one of those dubs that likes to use Japanese honorifics in English script which I personally find very awkward. The JPN voice acting is great. Morgana's japanese voice fits him a lot more IMO. Japanese it is. You speak English so you should play the English dub.
