I'm trying to install some KSP mods with Curseforge v0.212.3.7104. In Curseforge, this is what I see: I have KSP installed. If I go to Settings -> Add Game -> Manually add a game, and I select the folder D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program, I get a message saying

CurseForge has been around longer and probably has more mods (and certainly older, semi-abandoned mods). Modrinth seems more popular with modern Fabric mods, but that's a general feeling I'm getting rather than something I've actually tested.

The glaring issue for me was that my Curseforge launcher wasn't up to date. [If yours is also outdated > open the Curseforge launcher > on your modpack, right click and select View Profile > select the three dots next to play > select Profile Options > under Current Modloader Versions, select a newer version > Done].
