    I have recently found that when I try and open a PDF file in an adobe Acrobat reader DC the file opens and then immediately closes thus not allowing me to read print etc. I have tried re installing adobe but the this has failed.     The newest versions (February 2024) of both Acrobat and Reader were just installed on my Mac. The interface has completely changed, and not for the better, IMO. I was previously using a very specific setup with multiple Tool Buttons an easy click away. They were readily available in a strip of buttons along the top of my window.

    Given the total lack of response, this is apparently a problem that nobody else sees, so I have uninstalled Acrobat DC using the standard procedure outlined here: uninstall-reinstall-acrobat.html. I then restarted the computer and reinstalled Acrobat DC from the Creative Cloud Desktop app.

    Right click on the PDF document in the window, select "take a snapshot", then select the window you want to "snapshot", boom! it selects it and the program does a "snapshot". Right click on the blue highlighted window and print. Upvote. Translate.
