Target Upgrade to MasterCard. I'm a little late posting this, but my Target Red Card is being upgraded to a MasterCard. The strange thing is that I rarely use this card. When I DO use it, it is typically for a small amount and I pay it off in full. I used the card in December for Christmas purchases -- less than $200.
The letter says: By May 15, 2015. Target is discontinuing and closing business card accounts. Oh.. I didn't even know they hard a business card.. Oh well but thanks for the info.. 04-16-2015 02:50 PM.
Re: Denied Target's Credit Card. Unfortunately, credit decisions ARE based on predicting one’s ability to pay their debt. Just because someone has paid their debts in the past, doesn’t mean trouble can’t be brewing for the future. It’s all risk analysis. Job, job stability, and pay rate are not always good predictors.

Hey Guys, I got approved for 16k PNC business credit card with a 0% introductory rate for 13 months on balance transfers. Opened a business account with them last week Monday and applied online last Friday and they called me a few hours later for verification identity. This morning I got the email for the 16k limit approval.
