I am unable to run 'Full Scans' with Microsoft Defender. It will start running like normal but after about 1.5-2 hours it will suddenly stop. It will then go back to the "Virus & threat protection"

The problem is my "Virus And Threat Protection" wont scan for viruses and threats. I keep tapping Quick Scan,Full Scan,Custom Scan and it doesn't even do anything and it just say's. "No current threats." "Last scan: Not available". But "Windows Defender Offline Scan" still works. I dont know if you need to update it or something more problematic.
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen setting does not control AV scanning of the downloads. It is more for site/file reputation checks to protect user from phishing or malware attacks. So you can simply enable it again. There are no settings in Microsoft Edge currently to disable anti-virus scanning due to security reasons.
