True, people seriously sleep on emblem zhongli build. My burst slaps for 137k on a mediocre r1 homa/emblem build that has 76/160 ratio and 140% ER. Perma ult uptime too. I'm not saying you're wrong, but R1 Homa is the best weapon in the game, and makes anything good. An emblem build with Homa is really just Homa.

Keep in mind, I'm specifically designing a weapon meant for a support Zhongli, not a DPS one. Substat: HP%. Passive: Increases Energy Recharge by 20%. When the wearer gains a shield, or hits an enemy with their Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst, they gain a stack of Yesteryears' Vows (not sure about that name) up to a maximum of 3 stacks.

Edit: this is without buffs aside from Milelith 4pc and Zhongli shred. I'd say go for all ATK build then Petra & BS for the artifacts. Focus on atk%, cr cd, hp% and er for the substat. +65% crit rate and +90% for crit dmg is your ideal. As for the shield, you can either pull for VV or Homa in their rerun.
His strongest single feature actually turns out to be his physical combo attack, for comparison, Xiangling's combo is 180 MV/s, Zhongli is 216 MV/s, Razor the strongest physical attacker is around 230 MV/s. So basically phys attack carry > shield support > ult burst, you decide which role you need most. Reply.
If you are switching to BC pole, you can try building Burst build which is 2NO 2AP with ATK/Geo/CD or CR. If you plan to get Homa and want to do burst dmg, 2NO 2AP would be better suited for you. My lvl 90 ZL does 55-63k DMG on ult. Without any SUPPORT (Hp 39k, cr/d- 50/88 , 2p TOM, 2p NO; royal spear)

Worship your god and they'll make your enemies disappear; otherwise, you better start praying. PSA #2: Both Zhongli's abilities scale off ATK, but both also benefit A LOT from HP.
See ingame description about the artifact that’s require you to pick up elemental shard created by geo reaction. For me, I do Neuvillette E > Kazuha E > Zhongli E > Fischl E > Neuvillette QE. I'm not even sure where to add the Bursts of my other characters lmao I'm still learning about it.
Pop Shield, proc Superconduct, put geo constructs on the field, then just auto attack with Zhongli. I get plenty off field damage from Geo MC's E, Kaeya's Ult, Fisch machine gun Oz c6. This build is not optimal this current meta on floor 12 but having an above average build on your supports really makes the difference.
