I recently rewatched The Da Vinci Code after a very long time, and found the movie's pacing so boring, actors looked too dull at times, and the editing wasn't that great and some parts dragged for way too long imo, the plot is beyond absurd but the general premise behind the story is so interesting, I wonder what you think of it?

I really enjoy The Da Vinci Code series as well as the National Treasure movies and I was wondering if there are any similar movies I could check out. I really enjoy the treasure hunt aspect of them and the real life conspiracy theories.

In the movie The Da Vinci code, the code for Leonardo’s Cryptex was “APPLE”. Did Leonardo set that code? Or was it set later by the Templar knights? If Leonardo did it himself, then how did he choose APPLE, considering the story of newton and apple took place centuries after Leonardo’s time?
