The "Wave" allows you to change the gravity faster yet the look or controls dont change. BUT,when it comes to a flipped gravity..The controls are reversed. Many new players have a hard time controlling it because they overcomplicate the system tooo much. The best way to fix it is just to practice it later on if you dont play online levels yet.

Dorabae-Basic 10 is one of the easiest NC levels out there, so you can try that. Helps you out with the normal wave too. The wave is definitely my weakness, and that's one of the reasons I hate Nine Circles levels. Wave is used a lot because everyone likes it and its everyone’s skill set. So basically you're bad at wave. I haven't played HeLL very much, but wave is my favorite gamemode... Sounds like a skill issue.
