After a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Eurovision ยง Country link in "country in the contest year" articles, I have changed the infobox to link to (for example) Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest rather than just Switzerland, if such an article exists.
I have therefore taken the initiative to make a series of edits to Template:Infobox song contest/sandbox implementing this merge. This requires a lot of changes, since this template was clearly only made for Eurovision; I have now made it more versatile as to support any kind of song contest (hopefully).
I think the same correction needs to be made to two other contest submissions pages (I must have copied one of them): 1, 2. There is also still a discrepancy in the Good Topics scoring at the two lists of the scoring system. The submissions page says 10 points per article in a good topic.

I have just discovered that there is also Template:Junior Eurovision Song Contest venues which is basically doing the same thing as the now deleted and merged Template:Venues of the Eurovision Song Contest. That too will require the main Junior Eurovision template being redesigned to the same format as this, its senior counterpart.
